Baugh & Weedon's MPI benches are available in varying sizes, magnetizing modes, and current waveforms with a variety of accessories. This allows each bench to be customized to the user's needs.
The SBU version of the Magazon series is ideal for smaller test pieces and components up to 1200 mm long and requiring lower magnetizing currents.
PORTABLE BENCH UNITS PBS SERIES
The PBU system offers great MPI performance in a smaller package. The unit's portability offers flexibility for its application.
LUMACHECK / LUMAFLUX
The LumaCheck Dual UV and White Light Meter has been designed to offer the user the most accurate results and versatile calibration options available on the market.
The LumaCheck is a unique system design since it is the Sensor that stores the calibration details, not the Instrument itself, meaning that only the Sensor needs to be sent for calibration subject to the standards that your facility operates in accordance with. This allows the unit of the LumaCheck to be “hot-swapped” with another sensor and remain in continuous use.
The LumaFlux has all the capabilities of the LumaCheck, but adds a 3D magnetic tangential field strength meter.
The LumaTorch 2 inspection torch utilizes state-of-art LED technology, making it a great tool for fluorescent MT, PT, and leak detection. Made of aviation-grade aluminium alloy, the key highlights of this model being its excellent cooling ability, robustness and it’s lightweight ergonomic design.
The LumaTorch 2 has two different beam modes including spotlight and floodlight versions, all equipped with a black light filter. The spotlight version makes it possible to conduct inspections in daylight, whilst light reflectors are interchangeable for flood vs spot operation in the Torch 365 kit.
PORTABLE UV INSPECTION LAMP RANGE
The Opus is a mains only, handheld LED UV lamp featuring 4 powerful UV-A (365nm) LEDs, plus a convenient white light LED to quickly switch between fluorescent inspection and flaw location.
Advantages of the OPUS portable inspection lamp include:
Rugged aviation grade aluminium alloy housing
Waterproof and dust-proof housing makes the OPUS ideal for harsh working environments
A unique mechanical cooling system keeps LEDs cool to maintain optimum light output during extended use

OVERHEAD UV LAMP PANELS
The Apollo AP36-L and AP365-XL overhead panels are great for fluorescent MT, PT, and leak detection.
Constructed from aviation-grade aluminum alloy, the Apollo 365 series LED UV panel is a rugged unit and will endure the harshest working conditions; with the excellent cooling ability and is dust-proof. A waterproof protective case can also be added to the system.
ULTRASONIC THICKNESS GAUGE
The Baugh and Weedon AUDIT 207 UT Thickness Gauge is designed with measurement accuracy and durability in mind. Ideal for the toughest of inspection environments, the AUDIT 207 excels in both ergonomic design and technical capabilities giving precise measurement results with excellent stability while being rugged and tough in case design.
